Michigan on the front. Indiana on the back.

Coppercraft’s broad bottle makes its hometown hard to miss: Holland, Michigan appears prominently across the front. The copper-colored neck label and black bourbon panel give it a workshop-like look, right down to the lettering molded into the heavy glass base.

Turn it around, though, and the rear label adds an important detail: distilled in Indiana. Both statements belong in the story of this bottle.

Read the production statement

The supplied rear image identifies Coppercraft Distillery in Holland, Michigan as the producer and bottler, then states the whiskey’s Indiana distillation origin. That is more specific than treating the prominent Michigan branding as proof of where the whiskey was distilled.

The rear label distinguishes the producer and bottler’s location from the state of distillation.

The pictured label does not name the individual Indiana distillery. We leave that attribution open rather than assuming a supplier from the state alone.

Identify this particular expression

The front reads Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Small Batch, with 48.5% ABV, 97 proof and 750 ml. These are the specifications of the bottle shown here.

Coppercraft’s current spirits lineup includes several bourbon expressions. Match the full name and strength before applying another product page’s age or blending details to a bottle on the shelf. We are not assigning an age statement or borrowing tasting notes for this one.

The photographed shelf price: $49.99

The supplied tag names Coppercraft Bourbon, lists 750 ml and shows $49.99. There is no sale banner or loyalty-card condition displayed.

More labels worth turning around

Our Dead Drop Bourbon feature follows another bottle’s company and blending statements. The Tradewater shelf entry separates the name credited on the front from the bottler named on the back.
