Revere Small Batch: a bourbon tribute to Paul Revere
A closer look at Casey Jones Distillery’s Revere Small Batch bourbon and the distinction between its small-batch and single-barrel releases.

The name tells one story. The specs tell another.
Commemorative packaging can start a conversation, but it cannot finish a tasting. Our starting point here is what the producer actually publishes, with the release identity kept separate from any verdict on the whiskey.
Casey Jones Distillery’s Revere Small Batch page presents a Kentucky straight bourbon honoring Paul Revere within its America’s 250th anniversary range. It describes five years in oak and a rye-forward recipe. The listed bottle is 750 ml, 100 proof (50% ABV), priced at $59.99 when checked on 24 October 2026.
The page still carries April launch and shipping language. That is release context, not confirmation of stock or a delivery date today. Check current purchase terms directly with the producer; alcohol purchases are for adults 21+ and shipping eligibility varies by destination.

Small Batch and Single Barrel are different releases
The separate Revere Cask Strength Single Barrel page lists individual barrel selections. At our check it featured barrel 987 at 126.7 proof and identified earlier barrels with different recipes. Those details belong to the single-barrel range; they should not be transferred to the Small Batch bottle.
When comparing listings, match the full expression name first, then proof and bottle size. A shared Revere name does not make two releases interchangeable.
What we would want to establish in a tasting
We would want to know how the sweetness, oak and spice balance, how the texture develops, and whether the finish holds together. Those questions require a pour. Producer tasting descriptions are not our tasting experience, and this spotlight carries no score or buying verdict.
For another approach to commemorative bourbon, see our Remus Lou Gehrig Reserve shelf feature. Both linked producer pages above are the sources for this article; their marketing claims have not been treated as independent reviews.
